FAQ

-Why the name "Save Me Kaizer"?

Screaming "Save Me Kaizer" was part of the normal Kaizers show for a long time. When we saw Kaizers for the first time we were so enthusiastic about this band that we chose this climax of audience response as the title for our site.

-How can I contribute to your site?

Everybody is welcome to send us reviews of concerts or some nice pictures, that you consider fit. Note: -nice- pictures..

-Could you burn me CDs or send me video tapes or live recorings?

No.

-Where can I get the CDs that were only published in Norway?

The first albums, EPs and singles are still sold on Farmen.no, Kaizers' old record company. A very good place to go is cdon.com though. Here you can easily find all kinds of music from Scandinavian countries and of course you can order all Kaizers Orchestra albums and the Gnom CD. Shipping is no problem, you just need a credit card. It is also helpful to find yourself a Norwegian penpal who can act as a personal shopper for you. Works wonders.

-Why was this or that CD not released in Germany, Netherlands etc?

Record company only knows.

-Where can I get Kaizers merchandise?

Best place would be a concert, where you can buy merchandise from the most charming merchman Steffen. Next best choice would be http://www.lo-fi-merchandise.com For the moment it is a bit difficult to Aget hold of Kaizers merchandise in general. We hope this is going to change soon.

-When is the next Kaizers concert?

Rest assured that we will publish any new tourdate as soon as it is officially confirmed.

-Why can't I find pictures of this or that special concert?

We mostly have pictures of concerts that we visited ourselves. If you sponsor us we go whereever you like. Or start sending us your pictures.

-What's the intro of the Kaizers concerts?

That's "Russian Dance" by Tom Waits from the album "Black Rider".

-Where do I get autographs of Kaizers Orchestra?

As far as we know Kaizers have no such thing as an autograph service. But you can always ask them on a concert. They are really nice people.

-What's the matter with Killmaster's moustache? Sometimes it's there sometimes it's gone!

ChChChChangeeees... as we were informed by himself his moustache is a magic and stubborn one that comes and goes as it likes.

-Are the gentlemen vacant?

The gentlemen are all in firm relationships. But the music is there for everyone ;-)

-Is there hope for you yet?

The winners of the Love-Me-Kaizer-competition

Hi, Kaizerlovers! The winners of our competition are chosen!!

The right answers were:

a)Bryne (and NOT Bergen, Kaff [ha??] or Stavanger)
b)Bastard (this was answered right by anyone)

We were of course very happy about all those creative (and sometimes less creative) replies of the fans who wanted to show their looooove for Kaizers Orchestra. The decision was a hard one to make but in the end we all agreed on that Laura from Wuppertal did a fantastic job with her picture titled "The Truth about Marcelo's cellar".
And this is our winner:

The
Truth
The naked truth (click to enlarge!)

Laura G. shows us a very vivid account on what is REALLY happening in Marcello's cellar (see "Resistansen"). No dancing, drinking and singing there as we were made believe. No, instead the Gentlemen are sipping tea from fine china, eating delicious cake and chatting away about soccer. No russian dancer or even roulette, oh no, the resistance takes place in a highly philosophical and sophisticated atmosphere. And Fru Conradas serves tea whenever the busy mouths are dry. And we also would like to add that we would be very happy if the people on the pictures on the wall never ever came up again, thank you very much...Congratulations, Laura and have fun with your Love-Me-Kaizer-Package!!

We also have to honour two other grand works of love that were sent to us.

The
Wall
The Wall of Love (click to enlarge!)

Karoline from Berlin opens the doors to her most intimate chambers and shows us a wall that is plastered with various souvenirs from numerous concerts. Not bad, Madame! How many concerts was it again? Still!! There is more room on the wall to be plastered, so no first price for you... just kidding! ;-)

Almost legendary is Susi's cake with the gasmask made of icing. A very tasty effort that sports infinite love and devotion. We are very impressed! Could you please send us the real thing next time? :-)

Kuchen

All the other right answers took part in the raffle. The following persons have won a signed and hand-knotted CD:

Detlev M. from Meckenheim
Sylvia C. from Bonn
Leonie S. from Leverkusen
Kati B.
Ulrike E. from Berlin
Vera W. from Hannover

Thanks again to everybody who contributed to this fun competition, and many greetings to those who won nothing. There'll be more competitions coming!

Competition 2004

Love Me Kaizer!

Love me Kaizer
That's the price of love...
Foto: All you can win

Mesdames et Monsieurs! Together with Kaizers Orchestra we have organized a competition, in which you can win the following CDs of the band, all exclusively signed by the gentlemen themselves:

2X "Ompa Til Du Dør"
2X "Evig Pint"
2X "The Gypsy Finale"

All you have to do is answer these two easy questions:

1. In which small city/village in Norway did Hellraizer Geir and the Jackalll Jan Ove grow up? (and when we say SMALL we certainly DON'T mean Bergen...)

2. In which song does Mr. Kaizer appear for the first time?

If you are not 100% sure about the answers it could be worth checking the band history...
Well, we are not finished yet! You will also get the chance to win the "Love-Me-Kaizer-Super-Package" which consists of all the aforementioned CDs and an additional gnom CD "Mys" (pre-Kaizers band!) which is not available in the rest of Europe!

The Love-Me-Kaizer-Special

In addition to answering the questions above you will have to make an extra effort: give us a proof that you realy loooooove Kaizers Orchestra! Let your imagination take you far away. It could be a superb live picture that you took or a picture showing you in kaizers-related action (no porn, please!), you can also act a scene from a song etc. Whatever it is, it must show your love and devotion to Kaizers. Ready, steady, go!
We hope you understand that only persons living in Germany can take part in the competition!!
You can of course make a wish for which CD you would want to win and we will try to take it into consideration. Send your answers and pictures (please in moderate size!!) together with your address to infoATsave-me-kaizer.de.

The deadline is Friday the 17th of September!

Good luck!

P.S.: LOVE ME KAIZER!!!
