Jan Ove "The Jackal" Kaizer,
1975, vocals, guitar and barrels, also called "Daddy". Gave
up his military training for the sake of his beloved pump organ. He is
incessantly producing new lyrics and compositions, not only for Kaizers
Orchestra, but also for films and his own solo project. Most of Kaizers
Orchestra's lyrics and songs were written by this multi-talented guy.
On stage the charismatic front-man directs and erects the audience in
an inimitable way. Formerly known as "The Rat" this big footballfan
and -player is the father of two children and lives in Stavanger. |
| Og på trommer, ting og tang, bøtter og spann,
en felg, en lyktestolpe, en tamburin... og på et stort, rødt askebeger
– Mr. Rune "Mink" Kaizer - 1976, drums, ashtray. According to
himself he was already born as a rockstar. The left-handed drummer always
wants it faster and is the only one in the band who speaks a bit of German
but never understands it. He plays the drums using his whole hairy body
and in every possible pose. Once in a while he plays so fast his hands
bleed. He is a friendly and religious man, also known as the Nun. |

And on the first guitar, always playing on a
Firebird Original... He used to tour eastern Europe with Johnny &
the Sexual Problems, sold a few horses, got a decent price, and his name
is Mr. Terje "Killmaster", "Pearl"... also known as
"Mr. Long Island Ice Tea", Mr. Terje "Killmaster"...
Kaizer - 1977, Firebird original, first barrel. Besides playing
in Kaizers Orchestra he is the front-man in the cheeky punk band "Skambankt".
On stage he likes to wear his grandfathers vest and always causes sweating
and nervous breakdowns among the female part of the audience. On the long
tours he keeps himself in good shape with cigarrettes and coffee. |
| On the Kontrabass... aus Wunderkammer, Cloroform
and the big G upstairs... Mr. Øyvind "Thunder" Kaizer
- 1974, stand-up bass. As a permanent member of "Wunderkammer"
and "Cloroform" the man with the classical education joined
Kaizers Orchestra in 2004 as a replacement for Jon. The free-jazzer had
his musical breakthrough playing a complete John Cage composition without
accompaniment in front of four defenceless Americans who just had lost
their way in the wilderness. Even today he prefers playing for a carefully
chosen audience. Once in a while he likes whistling a song. Besides he
is the only one in the band speaking proper Norwegian. |

On the second guitar... I can tell you two things
about the man on the second guitar: The devil built this guitar for him...
but the Lord made him his suit! He made him look good in white... he made
him look good in black... he made him look good in red... The Lord can
make you feel good in any color! And his name is Mr. Garry, "Hellraizer",
whooo, give me the number there, give me the address there, Kaizer
- 1975, guitar, second barrel, vocals, songwriting. Does things on his
guitar that nobody wants to copy and is a constant offence to the Blues.
But he is a devil of a card player and has also shown talents in other
dubious disciplines like arm wrestling and breakdance. |
| On the pump-organ, all the way from Transylvania...
the one and only... Mr. 250 percent – Mr. Helge "Omen" Kaizer
- Probably early 18th century, pump organ, barrel. This mysterious
man with the gas-mask came all the way from Transylvania in a sailing
ship to teach Kaizers the eerie tunes. The silent one, who is said to
be good-looking in the mirror, started playing the piano when he was only
four. If he is not on tour with Kaizers you might find him wandering in
dark forests or sailing in Greece. He is modest and religious, owns a
picture of Marthin Luther which stands on his pump organ, reminding the
audience of their sins. His origin is eagerly kept in the dark by himself
and the band... |

Exkaizer

|
Jon "Mr. Say-no-more" Kaizer,
stand-up bass. Good smoker as well and nice to talk to. Had to leave the
band in 2004 due to time problems. Played a couple of gigs with kaizers
in 2005 when Øyvind was on the road with "Cloroform". |
Ersatzkaizer
|
| Oleg Kaizer, pump organ, brother of
Omen. Looks not too different from his brother, a bit younger maybe. Anyway,
is a worthy substitute and plays concerts that are worthwhile attending. |
 |
 |
Kristoffer "The Prince of Wales" Kaizer,
Stand-up bass. Has been observed doing very intimate things with his instrument,
including tongues etc. Replaced Jon a couple of times in 2003 and 2004.
